'She called ME pathetic': Entitled Karen and son park in homeowner’s driveway, blocking her from getting in after work and claiming they’d only be a few minutes

After a long, exhausting day of work, the last thing anyone wants is another annoyance to keep them from going home and rotting on the couch. Imagine pulling into your street, just wanting to park, get inside, and finally relax—only to find someone else's car sitting in your driveway. That's exactly what happened to this homeowner. She came home after a tiring day, only to be blocked from her own property by an entitled Karen and her son, who had parked in her driveway without a second thought.

When confronted, Karen brushed it off, claiming they'd only be a few minutes, as if that somehow made it okay. It's amazing how some people live in their own little worlds, so completely entitled that they think the rules don't apply to them. The homeowner, understandably frustrated, insisted they move, but instead of apologizing, Karen doubled down—calling her pathetic for even asking. The audacity is almost unbelievable, but anyone who's dealt with a Karen knows this level of entitlement all too well.

    Anyway, that's my story, my first ever. Please don't be the kind of person that thinks it's OK to park on someone else's property, especially when there's enough room to park on the road.

    bassman314 • 2d ago I lived in apartment • complex. We had one space per unit. I had a neighbor who's girlfriend would park wherever she wanted. Sometimes blocking me in. Sometimes taking my spot if I wasn't home when she showed up.

    After the third or 4th time, I told them I was going have the landlord tow her car and I won't give you the courtesy of letting you know before hand. She didn't believe me. It was towed a few days later and it was never a problem again.

    kids crossing the road as they can't easily be seen by drivers. My kids use that cross walk, you are making this unsafe for MY children. Second, the school has a parking lot, use it?

I got out and asked him if he could please move, and he did and apologised profusely for having parked in our spot! That's how she should have dealt with it, not calling you pathetic. The entitlement from people!!
